The benefits of the membership scheme are:
Free entry to Gisborough Priory
A newsletter three times a year
Ability to influence the future direction of the project
Voting rights (members will be entitled to nominate and elect directors at the AGM)
Becoming a director of the company
The annual cost of membership is:
Individual £8
Family (2 or more adults and any number of children at the same address) £10
Concessions (over 60 years of age, unwaged or over 18 years of age and in full time education) £6

Current opportunities for volunteers include:
Work in woodland (restoration of The Monks’ Walk)
Maintenance of Gisborough Priory flower borders
Organising and running fundraising events
Co-ordinating publicity
We also need people with an interest in photography, film recording, publishing and printing, etc.

We would like to record people’s memories of Gisborough Priory and Gisborough Priory Gardens. We have already started by recording Isobel Walker’s childhood memories of the gardens in the 1920s.

We depend on raising our own funds to support all our work. The directors are all unpaid volunteers from the local community. Any money raised goes directly to further the charity’s aims.
