In spite of the heavy rain in the middle of the day, Picnic in the Priory attracted about 1,100 visitors this year. They were able to sample an array of activities such as circus skills, archery, donkey rides and arts and crafts.

Thank you to Guisborough ward members and Hutton ward members for sponsoring the circus skills workshop and the animal encounters (provided by Kirkleatham Owl Centre). thank you also to the Brethren of the Old Guisborian Lodge for a donation towards the costs of the event. Our new (and fortunately rainproof) marquee was bought with a donation from the trustees of the Bow Street Centre – may thanks to them as well.
And off course, thank you to everyone who helped set up the event, prepare donations for it and work on the day itself – we couldn’t do any of this without you!
